Asbestos awareness training: what UK providers charge, online and in a room

Asbestos awareness training costs £15 to £50 per learner online across the six UK providers that print a price on their own page, a median of £22.45, read on 28 October 2026. A classroom course costs more: TSW publishes a one-day course from £125 + VAT.

What moves the price
- Online or in a room
- The six e-learning prices run £15 to £50; the one classroom price in the index is from £125 + VAT.
- Group size
- E-learning is cheaper per head in bulk: HSQE prices 100 or more users at £6.50 + VAT each against £15 for one. THSP will run the course at your premises from £495 + VAT for up to 15 people.
- Accreditation
- Providers sell UKATA, IATP, CPD or RoSPA approved courses; check which one a client or main contractor asks for.

What to ask before you book
- Which body approves the course, and is that the one your client asks for?
- Is the price per learner, and does it include VAT?
- Is the certificate issued straight away, and is a printed copy extra?
- For a group, can it be run at your premises?
